Spirit Airlines Starts Flights To New Mexican Airport in Tulum

Flights departing from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Orlando International Airport to Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum will commence on March 28, coinciding with the official opening of the Mexican airport. 

The airline is now providing special one-way rates, beginning at $149, which include taxes and duties, to commemorate the launch of the new Tulum route. 

Passengers have the opportunity to claim the first discounted price for trips taking place from April 10 to May 21, 2024.

The inclusion of direct flights to Tulum expands the airline’s global offerings at Fort Lauderdale airport to 26 destinations and Miami to 11 locations. 

Florida acts as a point of entry for Spirit’s flights to Latin America and the Caribbean. The addition of the new Tulum route provides travelers from 53 destinations throughout the U.S. with a one-stop alternative.
